The 2026 application deadlines are by 5 p.m. on the following days: Feb. 4, May 1, Aug. 3, and Nov. 2. There is no LOI; however, applicants are encouraged to reach out to the McCrory office first before submitting an application. A free virtual grants workshop will be planned for later in the year. The McCrory Foundation is a private, charitable foundation, incorporated under the laws of the State of Oklahoma and operated exclusively for providing support through gifts and grants to religious, charitable, scientific, and educational institutions which are qualified under section 501(c)(3) and which are not private foundations within the meaning of section 509(a) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
The McCrory Foundation prioritizes human services and health, youth development, and education causes. The Foundation may make grants to school districts, colleges, hospitals, libraries, and municipalities on a limited basis.
Eligible organizations must serve the people and communities of Carter County, Oklahoma as this is the geographical boundary placed by founder J. Lyndall McCrory.
The following are needs outside of the range of support by the McCrory Foundation:Direct mail solicitations and annual campaigns
Out-of-state institutions
Political organizations
Grants to individuals
Responsibility for permanent financing of a program
Programs whose ultimate intent is to be profit-making
Grants which trigger expenditure responsibility by the Foundation
Grants to churches may be made only if designated for specific projects that are of benefit to the general public

The grant application is made available to anyone by accessing it here. Foundation staff may also electronically send the application in Microsoft Word format when requested by applicants.
